Quality Facial Treatments V.S Store Bought Brands

I get tons of questions on this topic. Inquiring minds want to know. Is there really a difference between store bought products and quality facial treatments? The answer is YES! Absolutely! On the outside, we may not see the difference right away, but trust me it’s there, and the longer you use the same products the more noticeable it will become.

For most of my youth I used average, run of the mill store bought products you can find on any given Wal-Mart and Target shelf. I liked salon products, but it was more of a luxury. Now in my mid-30’s I realize how important it is to choose quality skin care products. That is why I made the switch to Yonka. Recently, however, I ran out of my Yonka products and thought I’d try the affordable drugstore brands again. That was a mistake. My skin was red, uneven, and dry. Never again will I skimp on my skincare routine at home. I gave myself an a mini facial at Estilo salon and treated myself to quality products!

The benefits of propper skin care treatments far outweigh the extra cost. At this age, prevention of dry skin and redness is paramount. Below I map out exactly WHY quality facial products such as Yonka make the difference and which products I recommend.

Is the cost really that much?

The typical complaint I hear about professional skin care treatments is that they are more expensive than store bought brands. However, the difference is in how often you have to buy the product and the QUALITY you get for your money. If you are paying less, chances are you are buying more frequently. With the Yonka cleansers and cremes, a little bit goes a long way. You might be paying more, but you will only need to restock your supply 2 or 3 times a year. If this isn’t enough to convince you to switch, ask yourself what is the cost if you don’t?

Ingredients… It matters.

Unless you have allergies to certain ingredients in facial products, chances are you aren’t checking those labels. You should! It’s a very good idea to know what goes into the products you put on your face and why you need it or don’t. Always remember that when reading the ingredients on any label the first ingredient is strongest and the last ingredients are the weakest in the product.

Products I Recommend

Yonka Cleanser: This invigorating and refreshing cleanser is formulated to meet the changing needs of your skin. Enjoy a thorough deep purifying cleanser that is gentle to the skin and never harsh or drying.

Creme 11: This soothing moisturizer combats visible redness and calms inflammation, quickly providing a comfortable feeling of wellness. It also constricts visible veins thanks to a tonic of horse chestnut and witch hazel.

Creme PS: Follow up with Creme PS, a vitamin-enriched, age-preventing moisturizer which nourishes dry skin and soothes redness. Wheat germ oil, olive oil, and beeswax nourish and protect the skin from early signs of aging while climbing ivy works to constrict visible veins to reveal more youthful looking skin

Hydra N°1 Serum: This hydrating cream moisturizer is designed for sensitive skin conditions. In addition to infusing the skin with age-fighting and repairing ingredients, it acts as a natural barrier against environmental pollutants.
